National Park
Nairobi, Kenya

Just minutes from the heart of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi National Park is where the wild meets the city.
Spread across open grasslands, acacia woodland and seasonal wetlands, the park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos and more. Its unique setting makes it one of Nairobi’s most special escapes, a place where you can experience the beauty and wildness of Kenya without leaving the city behind.

Elephant Sanctuary

The Nairobi Elephant Sanctuary, located within Nairobi National Park, is a special place dedicated to the care and conservation of Kenya’s elephants.
Here, visitors can learn more about these remarkable animals, their lives, and the importance of protecting them for future generations. It offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with Kenya’s wildlife while gaining a deeper appreciation for the work behind elephant conservation.

Giraffe Centre

The Nairobi Giraffe Centre is a much-loved Nairobi attraction dedicated to the conservation and education of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
Set in a leafy sanctuary, it offers visitors a memorable opportunity to get close to these gentle giants while learning about wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting Kenya’s natural heritage.
For NASO AT HOME, it’s a beautiful reminder that some of the most unforgettable adventures begin right here in our own backyard.
Hell’s Gate National Park
2024
Hell’s Gate National Park is one of Kenya’s most unique outdoor escapes, known for its dramatic cliffs, towering rock formations, gorges and open landscapes.
For NASO AT HOME, the adventure came on two wheels, an 18 km bike ride to the Gorge, winding through the park’s spectacular scenery and offering a close-up experience of the landscape and wildlife along the way.
It’s the kind of adventure that combines movement, nature and discovery, a reminder that sometimes the best way to experience a place is to simply get out there.
A Landscape with History
Beyond its dramatic scenery, Hell’s Gate is part of a landscape with a deep human history. The wider Rift Valley has long been important to the Maasai, whose pastoral traditions, movement and relationship with the land have shaped the region for generations.
Today, the park offers visitors a chance to experience this remarkable landscape from a different perspective, cycling through terrain where natural beauty and cultural history come together.
Mombasa
In 2024, NASO AT HOME founder Yasmine spent several months in Mombasa, taking the opportunity to experience the coast beyond the usual holiday itinerary.
Based at the Bahari Beach Hotel, the stay became a time of discovery, from the coastal landscapes and wildlife of Nguuni Wildlife Sanctuary to the history and character of Fort Jesus and Mombasa Old Town.
The journey also included visits to Akamba Handicraft Centre and Bombolulu Workshops, discovering the creativity, craftsmanship and cultural heritage woven into everyday life on the Kenyan coast.
From long days by the Indian Ocean to exploring Mombasa’s historic streets and local experiences, the months spent on the coast became a collection of memories, discoveries and inspiration, all part of the NASO AT HOME story.
