2026
NASO LIVING by NASO AT HOME was a collaborative lifestyle showcase that brought together several Kenyan home and décor brands—Afro Boutik Home and Lifestyle, Exotic Designs KE, Zawadi Shop, Kristine Reuben Home Products, and NASO AT HOME itself.
At its core, the initiative can be understood as:
- A curated home & lifestyle experience
It presented a cohesive vision of modern African living, blending furniture, décor, and lifestyle products into styled spaces rather than isolated items. - A collaboration of local creatives and brands
Each partner contributed distinct design perspectives and product lines, highlighting the diversity and richness of Kenyan homegrown design. - A platform for showcasing African aesthetics
The event emphasized craftsmanship, cultural identity, and contemporary design rooted in African contexts—merging tradition with modern living. - A shared commercial and creative effort
Beyond display, it functioned as a joint marketing and retail opportunity, enabling cross-promotion and expanding reach for all participating brands. - An immersive storytelling concept
“NASO LIVING” was not just about products, but about lifestyle—demonstrating how different pieces and brands can come together to create a unified, aspirational living environment.
In short:
NASO LIVING was a multi-brand, collaborative design showcase that celebrated and elevated Kenyan home and lifestyle products through a unified, experiential presentation of contemporary African living.

‘Culture Upcycled’
NASO AT HOME’s “Culture Upcycled” exhibition (7–8 March 2026) was a two-day immersive experience created in celebration of International Women’s Day, centred on culture, sustainability, and women-led creativity.
The exhibition explored the concept of upcycling as storytelling—reimagining garments, fabrics, and lived materials into new, contemporary pieces while preserving their cultural essence. Drawing inspiration from traditional East African and Somali attire such as the baati and diraac, the showcase highlighted how heritage can be reinvented through modern design.

At its core, Culture Upcycled was about:
Honouring women and craft through design, collaboration, and shared creative spaces
Sustainable living, using upcycled materials to promote conscious consumption
Cultural preservation and evolution, blending tradition with innovation
Community engagement, bringing together artists, makers, and audiences in Nairobi for dialogue, exhibition, and exchange.

Overall, the exhibition positioned NASO AT HOME as a brand that not only creates products, but also curates cultural experiences—where African identity, sustainability, and storytelling meet in a refined, contemporary way.

April 2026
25th April 2026:
‘VIBES & INSHALLAH’
We were excited to host artist Muthoni Mwangi for her signature ‘Vibes & Inshallah’ Art Workshop — a space where creativity flowed freely, just pure expression.
Whether you were a seasoned creative or simply looking to unwind, this workshop was all about tapping into your intuition, enjoying the process, and creating from a place of ease.
The concept was fresh, authentic, and unique, and this team led by Muthoni proved to be the visionaries we had been looking for.
We gathered over the weekend, building cities in boxes at our new studio location in New Muthaiga Shopping Mall, Thigiri Ridge Road, Nairobi.
